“This was the first year that we hosted the One-On-One Doubles Prize $ Tournament, in its 2.5 hour format, for 20 of our Women’s players that included French Open Singles and Doubles Semifinalist, Nadia Podoroska and Australian Open Doubles Champion, from 2008, Katernya Bondarenko. This was a most exciting kickoff event for our tournament! It sure was refreshing to see the Women serving and volleying and showcasing their all-court skills. We even had tennis fans show up to watch who never attended our regular tournament! The players all had a great time and we look forward to adding this event to our tournament every year. I highly recommend One-On-One Doubles as a kickoff event to ATP & WTA Tournament Directors.”
