Phil Matthews Captures International Tennis Hall of Fame One-On-One Doubles Club Championship

The first ever One-On-One Doubles Tennis Tournament Event held on grasscourts took place on Friday, July 17, at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

The center’s esteemed Tennis Director, Bill Mountford, brought One-On-One Doubles founder Ed Krass in to run the event. 

Lead Tennis pro at the ITHOF, who starred at St. Bonaventure University, Phil Matthews, nipped Lead professional of the ITHOF, Juanra Lastra, 15-13 in the Final.
